Isis Orue is a Licensed and Nationally Certified School Psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations that identify and support each child’s unique learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
With more than 20 years in education, professional experience as a school psychologist, lived experience as the mother of two neurodivergent children, and the ability to provide services in English and Spanish, she brings both clinical expertise and real-life understanding to every family she serves.
A whole-child approach. Isis looks beyond surface concerns to identify root causes, leading to more accurate diagnoses and practical, individualized recommendations for success at school, at home, and beyond.
Experience & approach
As a former educator and practicing school psychologist, Isis has taught and worked extensively with children with disabilities and diverse exceptionalities across South and Central Florida school districts. Her experience includes evidence-based reading interventions, academic and behavioral supports, and evaluation across a wide range of disabilities and exceptionalities.
She has in-depth knowledge of Exceptional Student Education (ESE) policies and procedures, including eligibility determination, IEP development and implementation, Section 504 requirements, evidence-based interventions, and Positive Behavior Supports (PBS). She collaborates closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams so recommendations are educationally meaningful and legally sound.
Education & credentials
Isis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist Degree in School Psychology. She is certified by the Florida Department of Education in elementary education, reading, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and school psychology.
She is licensed by the Florida Department of Health, holds the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential, and is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP).
